Hello & welcome to Furrow Flower Farm!
We're a small family farm located back in the hills of Sioux City, IA. We focus on using sustainable practices to bring our community unique and specialty grown flowers. We provide florals at the peak of freshness to designers, brides & stores in our tri-state area. Our on-farm workshops & events as well as u-picks offer our community the freshest Iowa grown blooms in our area.
We specialize in unique, seasonally inspired varieties of cut flowers.
My passion for growing started when I was a little girl. I spent many summers helping my grandma in her garden. She was the one who lit the spark, but it wasn't until June of 2020 when I lost my dad very suddenly & then my grandma just 2 weeks later that led my mom & I into growing flowers together as a form of therapy. It gives us something to do...something to love...& something to hope for! Our wish is to spread Joy with Farm Fresh, Iowa Grown Flowers!
Our 1920's 7 acre farmstead is nestled in a peaceful little valley, tucked away from it all. We're surrounded by nature with a 1/2 an acre pond and a wildlife trail that runs right behind it. Our kids show lambs so the occasional "baaa" can be heard while you're enjoying your stroll though the flower fields. Beauty of the rolling hills, sounds of nature & farm life are what you can expect to experience during your visit.
It's peaceful, tranquil & true farm living among the flowers!
During the growing season (July-September) we specialize in providing locally grown, fresh cut flowers to florists & our community directly by offering on-farm events such as u-picks & workshops. In late winter-early spring we sell dahlia tubers on our website for spring shipping & local pick-up.
